Pastor Glenn & Teresa Blazosek

Glenn and Teresa currently pastor the Canwood Pentecostal Church and have been there since August 1996. On August 15th Glenn & Teresa have been in Canwood 15 years.

Glenn grew up in Calgary, AB and came from a Catholic background. In 1970, immersed in the drug culture and trafficking narcotics on the streets of Calgary, Glenn committed his life to Christ and was completely set free from drugs. Not long after his conversion, he became fully aware of God’s call upon his life. Glenn then enrolled at Calgary Bible Institute and graduated after 3 years of Bible School. It was during this time that Glenn pursued his love of the guitar.

Teresa grew up in southern Saskatchewan on a farm north of Morse. She gave her heart to the Lord at an early age. After graduating from high school Teresa felt the call to go to Bible College. Teresa then moved to Calgary and enrolled at Calgary Bible Institute in the fall of 1977. She graduated in 1980. In 1979 Glenn and Teresa were married and were blessed with three lovely daughters.

In the summer of 1980, Glenn & Teresa entered the full time pastoral ministry. Since then they have pastored 4 churches before coming to Canwood. 

Prior to pastoral ministry Glenn & Teresa traveled for several years with “The Northern Light Gospel Singers.” As accomplished musicians, both Glenn and Teresa continue to use their talents as worship leaders. Their lifelong passion is to see God’s people enter into a freedom of worship and discover their destiny in Christ.
